My superpower is seeing potential through the fog. Not pipe dreams. Legit sh*t. Oh, yes, and I tell it like it is. Holding leadership positions in the advertising and media industry for more than 20 years, I now bring that expertise to executives and leaders wanting to remove performance blocks, drive employee engagement and elevate leadership skills. My coaching superpower is getting these big-time players to clarify their personal values, resolve career stressors and align personal priorities with professional pursuits.
I’m the one walking into a meeting with a venti Tazo Awake tea in one hand, a hot pink notebook emblazoned with “Ridiculously Good Ideas” in the other, and a boatload of humor, creativity, and optimism. I transitioned to coaching leaders with some serious creds in emotional intelligence after 25 years in the C-suite in health policy and corporate communications (with a Doctor of Philosophy in my pocket). Like my Red Sox, my superpower is building effective teams with a play-to-win culture!
Training teams and individuals to perform under pressure for more than 30 years, I’m the go-to behavioral dynamics expert. Emotional intelligence much? My superpower is my EQ x-ray vision: my ability to see someone’s strengths, weaknesses and potential blind spot patterns and how those show up in their behaviors, perspective, relationships and communication styles. I take each piece, view it as a whole and chart out an easy to implement roadmap that results in practical steps and lasting behavioral change.
In life and in business, my superpower is Connection (notice the capital C!). I unleash it every time I’m building client relationships. I worked my way up the corporate ladder, spending nearly three decades (count’ em!) in sales and marketing for giants like IBM and Compaq, before leaping into sales strategy and coaching. I thrive under pressure, bringing contagious energy and my customer service conscience. And I’m never afraid to share my experience from both sides of the coaching equation.
Keeping stress at a minimum and checking off the boxes to amplify the work of KickStart Your Edge Team—that’s my superpower. I’m all over the details, making sure all that the other stuff gets done. Even my checklists have checklists. I’m not afraid to ask questions that bring the team closer to our goals with a creative solution always in my back pocket.

Unshakable and ready to G.S.D, I’m the retired police chief constantly inspired to create game-changing impact in the next arena. I’m calling out the REAL issues and elephants in the room because there’s no time for B.S. I don’t do boring and I don’t do fluff, because I want to drive change and I want to have fun too! I stay nimble and ready to pivot so as a team, we can bring the most relevant content to our clients.
My coaching superpower:
Grace under fire.
Jenn Barley, PCC
Always ready to bring the fire, the insight, and the most relevant jam for the room (talkin’ music not your mama’s marmalade). I’m going to shake things up. A master coach and leadership expert (and not-sorry Silicon Valley dropout), I’ve got an uncanny ability to break down concepts with as many illustrative examples as I’ve got funky boots in my closet (note: it’s a big closet).
My coaching superpower:
I’m going to cut through the clusterf*** with powerful questions driving you to awaken your new perspective.
